We were never told when we checked that there is a $250 fee if you lose the room key. We were given only one key for a 2 room suite. I explained that to the check out staff and she said it didn't matter and we would still be charged the $250 fee. They also wanted to charge me an extra day that we had reserved, but I had to leave a day early for an emergency situation. I had them call the manager and explain the situation and he agreed that we did not have to pay the extra day. The hotel is old, but the coffee shop was great. The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful.

Simply blown away. I will be disappointed if I can't stay here each and everytime I visit New Orleans. Yes that good.

Beautiful hotel and kind staff but the room service wait is about an hour and I would never valet my car again because the wait was about one and a half hour.
